What are ghost orbs? To answer this question we must look closely at the facts and draw sound and logical scientific explanations. Let’s start with the ghost orbs that turn up around dusk, plus are snaps taking out doors. This covers probably 80 - 90% of all orb pictures.

Was it raining when the picture was taking? This will cause the flash to rebound off the droplets and cause an orb like appearance.

Was it snowing? Again similar explanation to above.

Was it foggy or misty? This would cause a ghost like wisp affect.Also street lights, car lights or house lights can cause an orb affect on camera.

So as you can see a lot of the pictures on the internet can be explained away easily by just looking at the facts and doing a couple of experiments. But what about the small percentage that are taking during the day either indoors or out doors when the weather is fine.
